Vehicle Detail

For Sale: 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28, Automatic, 79k original miles. I’m not a great photographer, so if you want more pictures or more information in general, email me at camaroz28.1016@gmail.com. Passed Texas state inspection 10/25/16. Registration renewed 10/25/16. Clean Texas title. Pictures taken 10/14/16. I inherited this vehicle from my father several years ago. I am selling because it is rarely driven as I have small children and it is not car seat friendly. Car sat un-driven March of 2016 through October. After sitting, car wouldn’t start due to lack of fuel pressure. After fuel pump replaced and injectors cleaned, starts quickly and easily. Car now drives very well, engine and transmission are very smooth. No known accidents or body damage. Car has t-tops, but I have never removed them. Recent work: Fuel pump (Oct 16), water pump, cam seals. Fresh oil change and other fluids are all current. Known issues or defects: Driver’s side window/lock switch housing needs to be replaced (see picture). Power windows still work, but there’s a fault in the power door locks. Bumpers are sun bleached, need repainting. According to mechanic, a slow transmission fluid leak. Clanging sound from rear suspension (or something coming into contact with suspension) while driving (unknown origin, shocks are recent installs, maybe a bushing). Tires have few miles on them (around 2.5-3k miles), but may be flat spotted or in need of replacement due to car sitting for several months at times. Trip odometer does not work. Air conditioning compressor does not engage. I believe it has a slow refrigerant leak as I previously recharged it and it worked well, then the compressor wouldn’t turn on after it had sat for several months. Keyless entry does not work except for rear decklid. May be an issue with key fob as when it did lock/unlock doors in the past it took a lot of pressure on buttons for it to work. I’m happy to make car available for pre-purchase inspections. Email me with questions at camaroz28.1016@gmail.com. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
