This 1991 Mitsubishi Delica is a very unique vehicle. The 4WD version offers a more firm and powerful ride, as well added versatility. This particular van is in spectacular shape both inside and out. The exterior is free of scratches and dents, complete with original two-tone paint that shines very nicely. This is a 2 owner van that has been well taken care of by its previous owners in Japan. The front push bar, spare tire and a very unique look. Also, fog lights and plenty of mirrors assist with visibility.
The interior is in very good condition with a lot of unique options. Power amenities, bench seat armrests, a clinometer, and dual zone A/C controls for both front and rear are just a few. The middle seats can be adjusted for limo-style seating, and plenty of cargo space is available when combined with folding rear seats. Furthermore, all the seats can be folded into one large bed. Panels and trim are present, and are showing minimal wear. The carpet has no stains or fading. and the dash is free of cracks. The seats have been well maintained and are very comfortable. The side windows also slide open and have tracks for sliding curtains.
Mechanically the Delica is ready for whatever comes its way. The 4D56T 2.5L turbo diesel is known for being rugged and reliable. The engine was used in the Pajero, where it conquered the Dakar Rally to become the most successful vehicle in Rally's history. The 4 speed automatc transmission and 4X4 with low range function makes the Delica capable of navigating troublesome terrain. The A/C blows cold and the power steering is in working order.
Overall, it's a very capable vehicle that's ready for whatever adventure comes next.
