Up for auction is a vintage 40+ year old Bonanza Mini Bike, believe it is the BC 1000 from the late 60's early 70's era. We tore the bike down and built it back up to what you see now. Bike was media blasted and professionally painted with Diamont Bright Blue Pearl Base Coat Clear Coat Automotive Paint. The bike received a fresh vintage West Bend 580 two stroke kart engine. The engine has double the RPM range of your normal 4 stroke Briggs or Tecumseh type engines. As a result, the bike is not really meant for a child but instead for an adult or collector. The engine has new piston, rings as well as all new seals and gaskets. The engine also has a brand new West Bend crankshaft that is designed to take the larger .75" clutch. A nice performance West Bend reed box with new reeds, nice aluminum West Bend engine mount and West Bend exhaust. A very healthy ignition system and the carb just received a fresh kit. The carb is very easy to adjust, one screw for low speed and the other screw for high speed if you need to tinker with it for your altitude. Many other new parts went it to this classic mini bike: gas tank and petcock, aluminum throttle bracket, cable, grips, throttle, clutch & chains, jack shaft, shaft sprockets. As well as all new heavy duty wheel bearings, shaft bearings, tires, tubes, fork triple tree bushings. A nice new Bonanza professionally made seat and more. The bike also has the nice 6" vintage wheels of that era. As this is a two stroke it will require a gas and oil mix. Comes with nice Gem Velocity Stack (really nice if you show the bike) and a hard to find vintage West Bend Brown Air Filter.Bike starts easily, runs great and sounds awesome (see video below of bike). It is really cool to hear it pop off at idle, it may wake the neighbors but that was how they were designed back in the day. The bike only has test time on it. It takes off pretty quick and gains speed fast. The bike runs great and does not miss a beat. A really fun little ride for an adult. This is a really nice 40+ year old mini bike a beautiful example of the mini bikes of the late 60's early 70's era. Perfect for your office, man cave or taking to shows.
