I would describe the bike as a nice survivor and is a nice representation on the CBX. Circumstances dictate me to let this CBX go as I do not have the time to enjoy it. As you can see, bike has a really nice Corbin Seat on it. I also have the original seat from 82 when it was taken off. Also the bike came with the original exhaust system completely wrapped up in newspaper from 1982. These pipes are perfect and have been installed on bike. The carburetors , fuel rail orings, and all brake calipers have been rebuilt. New battery, brake pads, and front and rear Continental tires have been installed. I have only ridden bike about 100 miles and enjoyed riding them all. I bought bike from friend of family who owned the bike since summer of 82, where he bought it from individual he met at Laguna Seca race that year. Bike has a low reserve in hopes of finding a buyer who wants to own a really nice example of the CBX. On Sep-22-16 at 06:30:11 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE... While riding the bike a little, I see the alternator is only charging at about 11 volts. In reading the forums, I see this is common to the CBX. It could be the brushes stuck from all the sitting or the voltage regulator or alternator are failing. I see complete rebuilt alternators on eBay for about $225. Because of this, I have added a buy it now that is $500 under my previous reserve. My loss is your gain.
