Vehicle Detail
2009 Mini Cooper S 1.6L turbo w/ 6 speed manual trans. 104k miles, approx Inspection/emissions good till 5/17 Brand new OEM clutch and flywheel at 95k miles Brand new thermostat at 98k Brand new oxygen sensor 102k Other minor repairs/maintenance done Good tires Cold AC Everything works great! Extensive service records This car is our daily driver. 100% reliable. The most common fail points on these cars have all been replaced (listed above). This car should be good for another 100k miles. Only has a few minor issues. Dent on trunk lid that can easily be popped out by a pro. Tire pressure sensor is bad so light is on. Check engine light recently came on for something related to the oxygen sensor. One was already replaced, so the second one might need to be now. (cheap fix) It has some stickers/customization that can be taken off. We love this car and will be sad to see it go. What a blast to drive! Selling for some extra down payment on our first house. Please call if you have any questions or want to come see it before bidding. The car is listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. 267-374-2305 If you need the car shipped please contact me about that as I can help arrange shipment. On Sep-01-16 at 19:59:53 PDT, seller added the following information:Update: I had the code cleared for the O2 sensor and have put quite a few miles on it since and it has not returned! So it may have been a fluke or just a very intermittent issue. You might not need to worry about this for awhile, or ever. Also, I thought of a few more things I should mention. The drivers window sometimes doesn't auto park in the up position. You have to play with it a little to get it to fully close until you get the hang of it. This can be fixed by reprogramming, but its only a minor nuisance. Also, a few small exterior bulbs are blown. They are styling lights and did not affect it passing inspection. Haven't gotten around to replacing them. It does burn some oil, I've heard that they all do. When the clutch was replaced the trans seals were replaced and the trans fluid replaced. It recently got a new serpentine belt. I've done my best to describe everything I can think of about the car. You are welcome to come inspect it and test drive it before auction end. This is a great car, we will miss it! Please understand that although I have complete confidence in the car, it is a used vehicle and it is being sold as is. Thanks and happy motoring!
