RELISTING....Because winner did not complete transaction.Former VDOT, gets great MPG - about 25 MPG HWY. Ugly and not much to look at but engine/trans runs good and straight on highway.Stops on a dime - New Master Cylinder, went to change pads but did not need them so have extra set of pads.2 new batteries - about a year old.3 usual rust spots that are easy fix and none in the bed.Couple of dents and easy fix also. - See Pics8 foot bed, about 2k miles to go for next oil change. Also new wipers, and swapped the old bench seat for another nicer and firm one. Has seat cover.No radio but connections easily accessible.Nice throaty sound but it is coming from a small exhaust leak.Gear display stuck on park but gears are all working.No inspection necessary, I have historic tags. Check with your state.All lights are working - including head, parking, tail and reverse.All fluids are good.Headliner is good too.FYI - This is the last year for the Chevy 6.2L Diesel. It is the more sought after post 1988 J-Type 6.2L Diesel. Previous engines (C-type) had some issues. This engine and transmission have other uses and have been put in RVs etc. Also rare is the half-ton full-size truck with a diesel. Just drove it a couple days ago on DC hwy/beltway and side roads and it drove good. A Lot of Life Still Left!!!!! Come get it and drive it away..... Any questions please let me know and I am also providing below the Q&A I got from bidders from the last listing: How is the underbody as far as rust? The underboady is fine when I last looked at it about a year ago. The rust spots are the one shown in the pics which are the usual places for this model to rust. What shape are the tires in? The tires have around 50%. About a year ago I kept losing air in one of the tires so I replaced it with a used one from CL (craigslist). The gentleman was selling a set of 4 and so I bought them all. I will try to find the others and put the extras in the truck bed. Are the registration/plates current? The registrations/plates are current as we currently drive the truck. Do you think the truck could be driven far as is. (of course I'm not asking for a guarantee just want to know if you would be confident to drive it long distance as it i now)It hasn't let me down yet. Last time I drove - I drove to my sisters about 80 miles away a few days ago on the DC beltway and 95S and some back roads. I don't see why not. Also I noticed the battery cable was loose about a month ago I tried to start and it didn't start and I tightened it and it is starting fine now. The batteries are about a year old.
