For your consideration is a 1951 Lincoln cosmopolitan sport sedan . This car originally belonged to K . Wolens from Corsicana, Texas. The car was then stored indoors in a warehouse from 1972 until 2012 when it was purchased by the current owner . The car has approximately 70,000 original miles . The engine and transmission are original and basically untouched other than a few new tune up parts such as ... I brand-new radiator belts and hoses and other tuneup items . This car runs and drives absolutely great! It has made several 350 mile trips at highway speeds with no problems at all . The hydraulic windows and seats work very well . The car has a basically brand-new set of Coker classic wide white radials . the car drives super smooth and quiet, the transmission shifts perfectly. The car also has new Wilton wool correct carpeting with custom made wool formats. The rest of the interior is original and in great condition for its age. Everything on this car works correctly as it should with the exception of the radio, it does not appear to work . Also, The speedometer needs to be removed and oiled , I had to unhook it the other day because it started to make some noise . The windshield is cracked , but included in the sale is a uncracked windshield . It does have some clouding Around the edges of it , but that didn't bother me . The car has had one repaint, and it could use another paint job soon to make a really nice looking driver out of it. It does need some minor bodywork but overall this is a straight And rust free car that I wouldn't be afraid to drive home or anywhere you want to go .
