Vehicle Detail
Selling my custom built 2001 Ford Ranger. This truck was put together with a "Saleen" theme in mind, kind of if Steve Saleen had built a Ranger in 2001 this is probably what it would look like. The truck had a body kit installed along with a hard fiberglass tonneau cover and full truck has been repainted its original deep wedge wood blue color. The interior has also been freshened including new factory seat covers and black carpet. Just last year I added brand new Saleen style 18" wheels & tires, Hurst shifter, black headlights, smoked 2006 style taillights, and professionally installed DJM lowering kit. The DJM kit lowers the truck 4/5 from stock height and includes front upper and lower control arms and coil springs as well as flipping the rear axle above the leaf springs. At that time I also upgraded to Moog upper and lower ball joints, Belltech Nitro drop shocks all around, and added Roush front and rear sway bars. All of the above mentioned parts have less than 1,000 miles of driving on them. Truck has a few interior upgrades including leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and cold AC, along with an aftermarket sun roof which is great for summer cruising and letting some air through the cab. Sunroof seals tight and has never shown any signs of leaking. Come take a look at this truck for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a clean lowered truck that gets good gas mileage, this is the one. I've been getting 25 mpg with it daily driving. Actual mileage on the truck itself is at almost exactly 173k, however mileage on the drivetrain, and all modifications is much less, currently around 33k. Gauge cluster that shows 58xxx is from a Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I have all of the numbers documented, just wanted to clarify now so that there is no confusion later. You would never know that this truck has 173k miles on it without doing a history check.
