2001 Ford Ranger, 2.3L Engine, 5 speed manual transmission. It is, and has been, a very reliable vehicle...runs just fine. Mechanically, we had new exhaust system installed on it and we also had some front end work done after hitting a pot-hole. We recently put new tires on it. Two have about 2K miles and the other two have less than 500 miles on them. There is a small bit of rust on top of the rear wheel well on the drivers' side. There is a bit of gel coat peeling on the hood as seen in the photos. I bought it a little over 2 years ago. I gave it to one of my sons that returned from college. He used to travel back and forth to work. When I got it, it had about 87,000 miles. Now it has 115600 miles.The previous owner was a fireman and had running/emergency lights on the corners of the truck and on the roof. He removed them and sealed and painted. The 5 speed was more than he bargained for in the traffic going back and forth so my son got a car with an auto transmission. I have my own car and we no longer need the truck so we decided to sell it.
