1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL in good condition. The car is in great cosmetic condition and the original hard top is included (pictures with hard top and soft top taken at different times in different locations). The soft top is not the original and is fairly new. This car sat in a garage for approximately 1 year before coming into my possession and has since been cleaned, started and driven. The car runs, but has trouble idling when the air is on which I'm told is most likely due to a leaking vacuum hose. The car has since been stored in a carport with a car cover. As mentioned, the car runs but has not driven more than 5 or so miles in over a year, though I do start it on a regular basis. It is the 8 cylinder, 4 stroke engine. The car does have a few minor cosmetic flaws due to its age but is in overall good conditions. To avoid surprises I'll make as complete of a list as I can. Please see above paragraph for engine condition. - Radio does not have power- Passenger side sunshade is detached at one side.- Passenger side power window switch is detached, but the window does work. I do have the switch in my possession. - Front/top dash has some cracking/damage from exposure to the sun. This car was driven in Florida. - The rubber ring around the base of the soft top is detached with minor rust in some areas. This area is mostly covered when the hard top is on.
