This is as nice of a 356 Speedster replica that you will see! The attention to detail and original Porsche parts make it nearly indistinguishable from a real one. It was professional built in Los Angeles in 2001 on a 1964 VW pan with a 2276cc motor, high performance Kennedy clutch (1700lb pressure plate) with a 4 speed Freeway Flyer transmission. It is as fast as you would want to go and gets down with the program quickly! I purchased it from the 2nd owner for $22,000 in 2013. Now, it has just over 9,000 miles on the entire build. Since 2014, no expense has been spared to make this a really special ride. Over $9,500 in recent upgrades include: $4,100 paint Porsche metallic silver, $2,730 in Porsche rims/caps/tires from Sierra Madre Collection, $1079 new dual carbs/exhaust manifolds/air filters, $875 Sebring single port performance exhaust, and a $440 new clutch. The soft top is perfect and has never been used. It has an incredible sound system that was professional wired and installed. It is a Sony Marine Head unit CD, tune, USA/EUR, Aux, etc. with two Kenwood speakers.Nice bass, sounds great with the top down. It was recently color sanded, buffed, clay blocked and professionally detailed. Runs great, sounds even better, looks like the real deal and more fun than most humans deserve!
