I have a 1980 GS550 motorcycle for sale. It only has 4100 miles on it. Bike is all original with no modifications. It had been sitting it various garages for 20+ years. I recently acquired the bike and got it running again. I cleaned the carburetors, put new seals in the fuel petcock, changed the oil/filter, replaced the battery, and it popped right off. I also replaced a leaky fork seal and replaced the fork oil. I flushed the brake fluid on both the front and rear brakes. I've put 50 miles on it and found that it runs and drives just like it did in 1980. The tires appear to be original, but are not cracked. The motorcycle will also come with a clear fairing/windshield. It was recently installed and is shown in the last two pictures. This has been a fun project for me. I've never been around a motorcycle that was so clean, original, and untouched. No oil leaks, the seat is perfect, the wheel weights even have the Suzuki logo on them. This would be a great bike for someone interested in vintage machines. While I would describe the bike as being clean, it is not perfect. There is a significant scratch in top of the tank and a few other minor scratches on the tank and tail light housing. I believe the pictures capture the tank scratches well.
