Vehicle Detail

1967 CB77 SuperHawk. Low mile (2600) original and correct. Turn Key Bike. I purchased this bike many years ago with the intention of doing a “show” restoration. After looking at this bike I realized how original and in decent condition it was. I decided to do a recondition and attempt to keep it as original as possible. I took bike down to the bare frame. Cleaned and hand polished all components. Soda blasted the engine. I had to repair front lower Rear fender mount. These tabs often break off. Most parts were kept original and the only items I “had” to paint were the top fork ears and covers, and the chain guard. Also engine side covers along with the engine top cover. The fuel tank, HL shell and frame have not been repainted and does have some scratches, chips etc. The 2 air filter covers were purchased as NOS but my guess is that they are repainted. I have no way to know. Only OEM Honda parts were used, but in some cases an aftermarket part was the only item to be sourced. I think the clutch cable is aftermarket. As are the Air cleaner tubes. And some of the rubber bits. Every component gone over. And everything works as it should. Every nut and bolt and part is where it should be. Items replaced/repaired: Replaced all engine seals. Clutch fibers. Steering head bearings. Cables. Air filters. Carbs & petcock rebuilt. New battery. New ignition parts. New drive chain. New tires and tubes. Forks disassembled, cleaned and new fork seals put in. Many new small items where needed, (grips, levers, peg rubbers, hardware, bulbs, fuel lines, etc.) Tank badges are high quality reproductions, purchased many years ago. Better than the ones available now. Every attempt was made to keep this bike correct. No junky hardware store bolts or nuts. All original hardware was reused or “correct” Honda replacements sourced. Even the cotter pins are Honda metric. Notice the grey spark plug caps. Very hard to find those. This is a low mileage bike, and you can see from the engine pictures how clean the inside of the motor is. It is one of the tightest, quietest 305’s I’ve heard. Pipes are original and very presentable. No dents but some discoloration on the head pipes and rust pit marks. Seat is original. Some foam deterioration from age but not ripped or torn. Chrome fenders, rims and tank covers have some pitting and scratches. This is not a show bike, but a very original and correct driver. Look at the pictures and you can see how correct and clean this bike is. You would be hard pressed to find a lower mile SuperHawk out there. NOS Tool kit, owner’s manual and both Parts and Service Manuals included.Look at the Before - during, and After pics. No surprises here. there is one picture of the condition the bike was before disassembly. I will help/assist in shipping in whatever way is necessary. Local delivery is also possible in Eastern PA, NJ area. Email with any questions. There is no title for this Bike. Bill of sale only. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
