1980 Mercedes-Benz 300GD Turbo Diesel. The truck was originally a 240GD and was converted to 300GD. This is a very nice unique good looking truck; G starts and drives really well but it does need some tune-up as brakes and new fluids due to sitting for over a year. I had driven it the other day almost all day and it is good driving car but to be safe is good to do some tune-up. The G has typical rust the major ones are in the right side back panel and left side front fender. This is not a Showroom car. The car will need full restoration to be perfect. Please check the photos and ask questions. The interior is not too bad; the seat does not have any cracks and the dashboard is in good shape as well. The carpet it's not perfect. On the right side door panel is missing a speaker. Convertible roof is in good shape but only the zipper will have to be replaced or fixed; it gets stuck because it's old. The tires will need to be replaced the front ones are bad. The Speedometer and odometer are not working. I was told from the previous owner that the new engine has about 130,000 miles on it. Odometer is showing 96,837 not sure what is actual mileage. I have some service records that will go with the car. PPI are welcome no PPI after the auction end it.
