No Reserve auction for a true 'survivor' 1969 Ford F100 Ranger long bed pickup. There really are few left in this condition. This truck has just under 40,000 original documented miles and will include original owners manual and other documents. Yes, we all hear about 'no rust' all the time. It is for real this time. No rust. Clean, straight body with mostly original paint. There do appear to be some minor touched up spots, but no damage, no rust, no bondo. The interior is excellent and original, no cracks in dash, nice clean seat and carpet. The truck came from factory with power steering, power drum brakes and Air Conditioning. The original engine was a 360, removed in 1975 and replaced with a verified, date correct, original 405 T code, 428 Police Interceptor engine. Wow! Clean in and out. The ultimate sleeper. Always gets looks, especially once the rumble or 428 fender badges are noticed. Yeah, it may look just like 'Grandpa's truck', but grandpa has left many behind wondering what just happened. The truck always starts easily cold or hot, runs and rides great and sounds awesome. The engine is basically stock, though it is a 428 Police Interceptor, I promise, with the exception of Sanderson ceramic coated headers, exiting through FlowMaster mufflers. The original C6 trans pulls and shifts as it should. Tires, brake hoses, radiator hoses, spark plugs and wires, timing chain, many gaskets, seals and freeze plugs are new. Complete, thorough cooling system flush.Original starter and alternator rebuilt. Fear not, it is drivable. Always fun to drive, well, with the exception of about a month ago, when a rock flew from other side of highway and cracked the windshield. Yes, i did cuss. The air conditioning system will require refrigerant charge to make it operational, but it is all original and complete. It did still hold a charge when removed for engine work. Compressor is in excellent condition and turns freely, clutch engages properly. Truck even has original Ford headlights! How cool is that? Even the original spare tire is still under the bed. A truck cover will be included also. Sure there is much more to say, but please look at the photos, they say much also. Come and inspect it and test drive if you wish. No disappointments. It is all good. Jump in, turn the key, it lights and goes. Truck is available for local pick up. I will work with buyer if shipping is required, but all arrangements and expenses are buyer responsibility. Clear North Carolina title. Actually, I called eBay in attempt to contact bidder, but instead received step by step directions to cancel bid.
