1978 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser60,137 Original Miles Up for auction is my 1978 Landcruiser. The vehicle has 60,137 original miles on the vehicle. I am the third owner of this car. It would be a great restoration project for the Landcruiser enthusiast. The engine ran and was drivable when I purchased it two years ago. I drove it up on the trailer. I am currently restoring another 1978 FJ40 and used some of the parts off of this vehicle which will be used on my current restoration. The frame is very solid and very restorable. The body is rough but I'm including another 1978 Tub which can be restored with some patch panels that can be used. The doors are included but will need to work on the bottoms which is very common. I have the original keys along with the owners manual. This would be a great restoration project taking it down to the frame and rebuilding back to a Classic FJ40 Landcruiser. The items missing from this Landcruiser are the Top, Seats, Drive Shafts, and the Jack. These are very easy parts to find on Craigslist or Ebay at very reasonable prices. I thought I would keep it around and eventually restore it when I got done with my other one. This is not going to happen so I want to let somebody else restore her to the condition she deserves especially knowing the mileage. The FJ40 Landcruisers are getting harder to find and the prices continue to increase on a stock restored cruiser. I require a $500 paypal deposit when purchasing this vehicle with the balance in cash when picking up this vehicle. I will also except a cashier's check but will not release the car until the funds clear my back.
