This old truck has been well taken care of. Better condition and less miles than any 20 year old truck that I've found online. There are zero mechanical issues, she drives like a gem. 5.8L V8 provides all the power you could hope for for hauling. 2 Gas tanks are around 18 gallons each for long trips without stopping. The few issues it has are cosmetic, and won't affect you at all if you simply need this vehicle for transportation or work purposes. The fuses need to be changed to get the radio working, the A/C needs some freon to be at its full potential, and the passenger side door handle inside the truck needs to be reattached to the mechanism (simply requires taking off door panel).There are 3-4 minor cosmetic issues as to be expected by such an old vehicle, but it has never been in any collisions or accidents and the worst of the cosmetic is a slightly uneven tilt to the rear bumper. Among the remaining issues are 2 small spots (1-2 square inches) where the paint has worn down on the drivers side front quarter panel. On the tailgate there is a magnet that has been sitting for so long that the paint underneath is dirty and warped, but no worries! Ill let you hold onto the magnet so you can manage that on your own time. A small can of paint from the dealership (around $20) will fix all the paint issues with excess for the future. The steel body is in perfect condition, no dents or hail damage. Only 82,000 miles on this beauty and she's all original. The battery and starter were recently replaced as well. Of course this is the long bed version of this truck, so even more room to haul! The interior is gray leather, with 2-3 small rips from wear over time, none larger than a few inches and not in positions to grow or rip further. The floor mats are all rubber, you can empty this baby out and hose her down without having to worry about your upholstery. Full size spare is included which has a mount under the rear of the truck. Road ready, 2 weeks ago I took her on an 8 hour round trip drive from Georgia to Alabama to test her out before listing, and she runs great! The transmission is very responsive, you can hold her in a higher gear to save gas , or with the touch of your foot drop her down low to unleash the 5.8 L V8! She has quite a bit of "get up and go" but she's been driven very conservatively for the past 10 years. If you are the type of person to drive hastily or frequently need to get somewhere in a hurry, expect to pay a little more for gas. The way I drive gets me about 350 miles per tank.
