Purchase nearly 8 years ago as a winter project. The damage was in the frontend above the bumper. Please see photo showing the damage. The damage was confined to the headlamp, bumper cover and hood. No damage to the front suspension. Nothing had to be repaired or replaced with the suspension. The only frontend work was an alignment. Absolutely no mechanical damage as the engine is in the rear of the car. I replaced the fender, headlamp, hood and bumper with OEM parts, then had the car professionally painted. It looks the same today as it did 8 years ago. The car was adult driver with zero modifications. I replaced the tires last year with a new set of KUMHO low profile really soft tires. Everything works as it should. The only item that needs to be replaced is the emergency brake cable that broke when I pulled it out of storage this summer. The car is really fun to drive and handles like a go-kart. With the exception of a 1,200 mile trip a few years back, the car was only driven on nice days in the warmer months around town. I put a little over 8,500 miles on it in nearly 8 years. I restore cars as a hobby and usually do one per winter. Once completed, I’ll use as my daily driver or give the car to one of my children. I restored this one because it was fun to work on and even more fun to dive. I enjoyed it for 8 years and it’s time to free-up some space in the garage.
