I purchased two Honda v65 Magna bikes that had been sitting in a storage shed for many years. I recently sold the first one on Ebay about a month ago. That was an 83 v65 and only had 5800 miles on odometer. See my positive feedback response from that sale. This bike odometer reading was 39 miles. I know that is nowhere near the accurate mileage However I can say that the front tire when I removed it was the original. So my best guess is the bike has less than 6000 miles as the tire had tread left but was very weatherchecked. The owner of these bikes had passed away and that is how I was able to find them as I restore motorcycles. The following is a list of what I did to bring motorcycle back to life.1 new front and rear tires2 new battery3 rebuilt master cylinders and calipers and replaced brake pads for both front and rear brakes4 new grips5 complete carb rebuild and carbs fully synchronized - installed new carb boots6 oil and filter changed7 new spark plugs and air filter8 removed both upper and lower fuel tanks and cleaned debris from inside - replaced fuel filter9 replaced fork seals and fluid As you can see, this was a very complete refurbish.Items of note:as with all of the Magnas of this vintage that had chrome plated aluminum rims, the chrome is starting to bubble on both front and rear rims.also, the mufflers have light scratches which appear to be from previous owner having leather saddle bags installed.overall, this bike is in excellent condition and runs perfectly. Tank has no dents and painted parts are in excellent condition. The seat looks like new, has no rips or tears and has the gloss of a new seat. Exhaust is not cracked or dented. the pictures will show you what I mean.I personally put at least 50 miles on bike after completion, and am very pleased with the appearance and performance.
