This Triumph Spitfire has won 2nd and 3rd place in a few shows. It is a very reliable driver having been driven from Lansdale PA to North Carolina on 2 occasions. It has been in my possession for 13 years. The car has won the Delaware Valley Triumph Club economy run with a Circuit mileage of 33 MPG. The paint is not Triumph correct in color - this is Farmall (tractor) red- kind of like a Ferrari red.Interior is black vinyl. Inside the hood are 2 signatures: Graham Robson (noted Triumph expert and historian) and Harris Mann (the designer of the TR7). Both were signed at the North Carolina Triumph National Convention. 2 tops will come with the car: The color matched Hardtop and a fairly new , very good condition Soft Vinyl top. The cloth inside the hardtop is in good condition but has some staining that is not really all that noticeable. It has the Triumph electrically switched overdrive.The suspension is upgraded with Gabriel gas shock absorbers. These are an improvement in the handling characteristics along with the Michelin up sized tires. An electric fan has been added to aid cooling in traffic.The flow through muffler (Stebro) is heavy duty and will not wear out. A new clutch, pressure plate and throughout bearing were added last year . Auction will end if the car sells in other public sale venues.
