Vehicle Detail

1954 Plymouth Belvedere 4-Door Sedan Flathead 6 engine #P35*II37F Odometer shows 9652 miles ( I assume the odometer has crossed 100,000 miles, but I have no ability to know the history) This is a clean, straight car ready for restoration. All panels fit together properly and appear to be original. The rocker panels and fenders are all smooth with no surface rust underneath; minimal surface rust above, inside doors. Floor pan is not rusty. Very little bondo (a couple of small spots on the roof and one just above the trunk) to be removed, and most of the panels are ding and dent-free. All the chrome is there, most of it is in nice condition but there are dings on the passenger door and front fender chrome (see photos) and the strips above the rocker panels are both dull. There are some scratches in both bumpers showing signs of surface rust. The tail fins have minor pitting on the inside surfaces. It starts right up. Drove it to the gas station and put in a couple of gallons; not sure whether the gas gauge doesn’t work or if that just wasn’t enough to make it register. All other gauges working. Interior chrome, knobs, panels in very nice shape. Minor wear on center plate (see photos.) Steering wheel and center emblem are cracked. The interior upholstery is in need of replacement, but the foam beneath seems to be in good shape. Glass is all good. This is a Wyoming car - currently in Newcastle, Wyoming - about 2 hours from Rapid City, SD. Stored in a dry climate, NO east coast rust. Be sure to look at all my pictures and if you are bidding ask questions. I'll do the best I can to answer them. This car came out of my father's estate. He loved Mopar vehicles. Sorry to let this go, but with kids. I don't have to put into this vehicle. Buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle within 4 weeks of auction closing. Come visit the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore and come home with this beautiful Plymouth.
