Selling for a friend. Loaded 1983 Honda GL1100 Aspencade. Probably every add-on you can get for this bike. Radio/cassette, electronic dash, light bars, etc. BIKE WAS RUNNING WHEN HEAD GASKET STARTED LEAKING. Started with a little steam on right side during start up and progressed to the point it wasn't good to ride. Last time it started, it steamed, and quit. WON'T START NOW. THIS BIKE NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED OR PARTED. My estimate of eBay listings show close to $2000 in parts, maybe more. He would like to just sell it outright to be fixed or parted out. Odo shows 80,760 miles. I know this guy for years and he has cherished this bike and maintained it meticulously. Clear Florida title. Questions asked. Will I ship overseas? You can arrange shipment anywhere you want. Bike is in my shop and can be picked up in Tampa, Florida after cleared payment. I will adjust my schedule to meet shipper but that is the extent of my ability. I cannot transport. I was also asked if the motor was struck. It ran approx 3 months ago, sputtered and quit. It turns over but will not start. UPDATE: I was asked additional questions. The pictures in the ad were taken the day the ad was placed. The owner, my friend, loved this bike and took very good care of it. It was garage kept it's whole life. It has virtually no rust or corrosion. Tires are half gone. I looked thru the bags and it has Aspencade removable luggage, and a full motorcycle cover. Original factory repair manual with receipts for work done. My friend was going to have the bike fixed but his wife was after him to get a newer bike so he bought a 2008 Wing. He would like to see it put back on the road. He asked me to sell for him since I have a lot of eBay experience. I have bought, sold, repaired and parted several BMW and Harley bikes but this big old Goldwing is new to me. I do know that the value of parts on this thing is far beyond the asking price.
