For Sale: 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L rear DVD entertainment (RES)/navigation (NAV) with 256k original highway miles. V6 3.5L Engine. Front-Wheel Drive with Automatic transmission. Multi-disc CD player. Blue exterior with gray leather interior. Yakima roof rack included. We are the original vehicle owner, and all service has been done at Piedmont Honda since purchased. All oil changes have used full synthetic Mobile 1 Oil. Recent maintenance at 227,987 included: replacing timing belt and tensioner, drive belts, water pump, and coolant, fuel filter set, rear brake pads, turned rear rotors (total bill $1358.71). Recent maintenance at 229809 included: new front left and right CV axles, and front sway bar links (total bill $979.04). New Michelin Defender XT tires purchased at 219,183 at Sam's Club. The original window sticker (included in the photos) shows all options, safety features, etc. Vehicle has been in two minor accidents with only cosmetic damage. All repairs were done by a Honda certified body shop. The vehicle's engine starts and runs, but the transmission won't engage (i.e. the vehicle is NOT drive-able). It NEEDS a transmission rebuild. The exterior has a few small dents (as shown in photos) and several dings and nicks from highway mileage. Interior is nice and clean. Overall it is in reasonable condition for the year and mileage. Title in hand. Sold AS-IS with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for local pick up in Clemson, SC ONLY. We cannot deliver the vehicle, and will not ship the vehicle. Does the AC blow cold and is the heater hot? Has any repairs been made to the engine? Answer: The transmission went out last April...since then I have only moved it around the driveway as needed. I was driving it back and forth to Atlanta up till then. No engine work other than timing belt and a valve job. I had the Honda dealer do a valve job because it burns ~1.5 quarts of oil between oil changes (i.e. every 10,000 miles). I put 10w30 synthetic in it and it seems to run fine. AC doesn't feel as cold as it should, but I have not checked the freon at all. Heater works fine. It is not working. It has freon, but the clutch on the compressor is not engaging when the AC is turned on.
