Up for sale, I have a Mercedes 560 sec. It is black with a grey interior. The car has 91,718 miles which I believe to be original. I see many for sale with 200k+ miles, a testament to 80s-era Mercedes-Benz engineering. The doors still close with authority and the car idles smooth. Car has sunroof, pillarless windows, A/C, heated seats, phone holder. Maintenance: I am told that the fuel pumps were changed recently. The car maintains excellent oil pressure and does not overheat. The car wears Michelin tires with good tread and makes great power, more than keeping up with modern cars in terms of acceleration. It pulls very strong, and maintains high speed on the highway. All four windows go up and down and operate as they should. Driving with all of them down is as good as driving a convertible, except it doesn't mess up your hair. I had my mechanic look at the car and he was impressed at the condition. I also just detailed the car. Climate control functions as it should. You can go to the Mercedes dealer and obtain records through their system. The good: Seats have good support but still are plush Engine and transmission operate smoothly Brakes stop the car with good modulation Paint still shines after 30 years. Clearcoat is still present. The bad: Slight tear in driver seat left bolster area but can be fixed Nicks and scratches on bumper, as to be expected with a 3 decade old car. All in all a solid car that drives modern and an easy way to enter the classic car hobby. Can still be daily driven. I enjoyed my time with it and even built an extension to my garage for it, but I bought an r107 and this doesn't get driven as much.
