1968 BUICK LESABRESurvivor As pictured, rare 1968 Buick LeSabre survivor. Same owner since 1971. Sat all winter, started right up. Moved around the parking lot, but not street driven. No unusual noises from engine or transmission. Brakes work, but are soft due to brake line leak. The photos show the car as it seats, it was not detailed. Interior in remarkable shape. Tires are good and hold air. Body as shown in photos. 97 year old owner can no longer drive and car was sold to offset nursing home expenses. Son, who has power of attorney, drove it occasionally after owner was no longer able. Window wash reservoir has deteriorated over time. Glass is good. It's an AC car, but belt is off compressor. Lights work. Emergency brake seemed stiff so it was not depressed to avoid potential lock up. No leaks noted after winter storage. Comes with spare tires and original owners manual. I do not believe the car has been restored or repainted. It is a true survivor. I am required by Wisconsin law to be a registered dealer so you will need to complete all forms required by the state prior to delivery. If you are a Wisconsin resident, you will need to pay all title fees and sales tax as well. Out of state buyers will receive the clear title from 1971 with the owner power of attorney signature along with a signed durable power of attorney in order to get the title in your name. Out of state buyers will pay tax and fees required in your home state. If you are a Wisconsin resident, I'll send the title in for you as required by law. All buyers will pay a $195 dealer service fee in addition to the purchase price. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due immediately at the conclusion of the auction. Balance is due no later than 7 calendar days after auction end. Car needs to be picked up within 14 days of auction end or storage fees of $10 daily will commence on the 15th day. Car will be picked up in Dalton WI at a commercial location. I sometimes use uShip to transport vehicles. This car comes with no warranty, express or implied. I do state the car will start, drive and stop under its owner power but I would not recommend driving it any distance due to the brakes. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
