Honda Big Red 250ES 1985 as of June 04, 2016 the 3 wheeler starts, runs, steers, shifts, throttles well and drives good.very powerful and geared to work hard if necessary. Very fun to ride.cold starts a bit hard until it's warmed up or used daily, then it's nearly instant. for many years the throttle response is not as quick to go from idle to off idle - there's a brief pause as it transfers between the two throttle stages.vehicle comes with a clear Certificate of Title issued by the state. May or may not be washed/ cleaned up before or after this auction the following only known conditions, concerns or issues that could use repair/ replacement but not an absolute necessity are:Fuel Tank. - there's a seeping leak located under the seat at rear of fuel tank. There has once been some kind of repair to the tank noticeable only when seat is removed. An obvious weld or brazing done. It's a seeping leak that is only obvious after the Honda is parked for a day or more. The vehicle has been used with the same very slow seep for many years to present as is.Battery - stays charged but is simply weak as it is old. should be replaced eventually. Body Fender/s - there has been some temporary stitching done to crack/ split on the rear fender. stitching done with red nylon zip ties and not really obvious. fender replacement is absolutely not necessary unless there's a desire to restore to factory new.Only repairs/ service performed or contracted has been spark plug, air & oil filters, new oil, bulb changes. The only service recommended is the regular preventative maintenance (oil change, etc) and maybe a carburetor idle set and fuel mixture tune up to help with cold start and improve the off idle throttle response.($1295.00 reserve)
