Vintage MG TD from an estate where it had been stored in a large shed for nearly 40 years. It has matching builder plate and frame numbers; the frame number in photo does not show complete number but we brushed it down and can see "4496" as the last four numbers which matches the brass builder plate. It is not known if engine is original to the car as we can not find a number plate. The odometer reads 51,000 miles and the original color appears to be a deep burgundy. The car appears to be complete and has a spare bumper and suspension part. It does have heavy surface rust but we did not see any rust-through on the frame or body--we did not poke too deeply so won't rule out the possibility. The inside of the fuel tank looks very clean for its age, with no fuel in it. Three out of four wheels turned freely while loading although the left rear is locked up--the previous owner stored car with the emergency brake on. Overall, this is a complete MG TD that is a good candidate for restoration as these are pretty easy to work on. Local pickup only or buyer arranges shipping.
