I'm selling a 2002 Ford Taurus with 166,459 miles. I'm the original owner (purchased new in 2002). Over the last couple years, I've done many many repairs including: 1. New Air Conditioning System - Including Compressor, Lines, and Condenser (Pretty much the entire system) ($900)2. Starter3. Alternator ($378.85)4. Power Steering Rack (891.44)5. Rear Struts ($500)6. Value Cover Gasket & DPFE Sensor ($510)7. Battery (around $100)8. Coil (around $100)9. Oxygen Sensor (Around $100)10. Spark Plugs and Wires (Around $100) Talking THOUSANDS of dollars in repairs - (Yes, I know I went overboard). Transmission fluid and coolant changes were done per Ford recommendations The car has Goodyear tires with a lot of tread and a newer battery. Car has keyless entry with remote start. The car just passed the Illinois Emissions test in May 2016. The car will need ball joints replaced (I got a few quotes and it was around $300 to go both sides), which is why I'm asking $250 below Blue Book value which I included in the pictures (it is $1750). Or if you are a mechanic, you can do the job for around $40-80 depending on what brand ball joints you use. The car does drive though. The passenger side ball joint squeaks over bumps. The mechanic didn't say it was an urgent need but I would replace them sooner rather than later. The rear driver's side window doesn't work, but the other 3 do and there is AC in the car. The interior is well taken care of and is VERY clean. As you can see, the Autocheck score is very good for a 2002! Car is located in Roselle, IL Reasonable offers welcome!
