Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 2006 Chevy TrailBlazer, a sport utility vehicle with a 6.0-liter V-8 of pure Chevy Power. This is the SS model which features a 395-horsepower, 6.0-liter V-8; a sport-tuned suspension; a lowered ride height; and 20-inch flangeless wheels. It is a rear-wheel drive beast that can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. While the car itself has 130k miles, the engine has only 45k miles on it - I have the paperwork for the new engine that was installed by Gil's Garage in Burnt Hills, NY that shows the engine was purchased in February of 2013 (see pictures) and installed in May of 2013 with 85k miles on the odometer at the time. The new engine is an LS2 crate motor straight from GM with a rebuilt transmission and brand new shifting cable. When the engine was installed I also purchased everything to get it back to factory settings, including headers, air intake, O2 sensors and much more (again, I have all receipts for this work). The TrailBlazer has StabiliTrak and Displacement on Demand technology as a fuel-saving measure. It also has an occupant-sensing system for the front passenger seat and an MP3-capable CD player. The TrailBlazer comfortable seats five people with cargo capacity of 80.1 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down; otherwise, it totals 41 cubic feet. Under the Hood - This TrailBlazer SS holds a 6.0-liter V-8 that pumps out 395 hp and 400 pounds-feet of torque. For safety, there are all-disc antilock brakes and dual-stage front airbags deploy with varying force depending on crash severity. Driving Impressions as noted by the Experts: Performance is a strong point. On smooth surfaces, the TrailBlazer's ride is comparable to a car's. Its handling is a bit on the slow side, but the driver benefits from a satisfying steering feel. Interior space is ample, and the seats are somewhat firm. The hard-working TrailBlazer competes enthusiastically against the Ford Explorer and other midsize rivals in passing power, ride comfort and handling prowess.
