I am the original owner of this car and took possession on August 30th, 1996. The car was never a primary car, but a weekend highway car so most of the miles are from highway use (75,000 miles). The car has always been garage kept and used all year round which I think is better for the car, but during the winter months I would wait a few stays until the road was dry to take it out. It’s never been in an accident nor does it have any scratches or door dinks. I did have the front bumper repainted from picking up small minor road debris scratches. With regards to repairs the car has only been at the dealer twice during my ownership. The first week BMW had to replace a spark plug power pack for a check engine misfire and about 10 years later a new water pump and pulley. Just recently, I installed four new tires, Axis Deluxe Plus brakes, tune-up, hoses, belts and battery. The engine compartment and drive train is dry (no leaks) and clean.
