1970 Chevy Short Bed Custom. I bought this truck with plans to keep it, plans change. It was sold new at a dealer in Tennessee Eddie Chevrolet the stcker is still on the truck. First off it is not the original motor it does have a 350 in it and runs great. It does not smoke or leak any fluids I have drove it down the interstate 70 -75 mph on week end drives with no problems of any kind. Drives great and has power steering, handles great tracks down the road smooth with no noises. The paint is original and looks good there are areas that it is getting thin as expected. The cab ( white ) has been repainted which was white as original. All the body is original with no patches, nice clean with only a couple rust bubbles. All the chrome trim is original to the truck. You can tell this truck has been kept inside most of its life even the frame is super clean with no rust issues. I had thoughts of just clearing coating the body since it looks very good. The interior is original and in super condition. All the lights work even side marker lights and back up lights work. The signals work on both sides with the exception the right side in the cab I believe it needs a new bulb, same with the inside dash dimmer needs a bulb. Am/FM radio was ordered with the truck as a option and it works The trim tag in the glove box is there showing the options ordered with the truck, ( see photo ). Owners manual and protect o plate is also there. My plan was to drive and enjoy it for a few years then maybe clear coat it and put a create engine in for a little fun. This is a super clean very well taken care truck that gets all kinds of complements that you can enjoy and do nothing to or with little money take it up a notch. A rare thing is to find one in this condition and from what I have seen my reserve is very fair at 15,200.00. I have a clean Tennessee tittle in my name.
