Vehicle Detail

Here is your chance to own a nice 1980 Corvette L82. This car is black with the oyster interior and does have t-tops. The corvette is sitting at 87,596 miles and may go up slightly as I drive it when its nice out. I'm going to start by saying that in my opinion this is a nice car that you can drive while you restore it. It starts, runs, drives, stops, steers just fine and some may just drive it as is but it does need some work so I will try my best to describe the pros and cons. Its a C3 Corvette that's not a base model but the more desirable L-82 with a clean title and 87k miles. The body on the car is in great shape and are no cuts, cracks, dents in the body. The t-tops come on and off just fine. The seats are in great shape with just one little tear in the driver seat that you can barely see. The windows go up and down (may need passenger window switch, intermittently works ) Wipers, lights, flip up headlights, door locks, radio, gauges other than clock all work. It has a really nice and modern radio with Bluetooth, satellite radio, i-pod hook up and new speakers. It sounds really good. It starts right up, engine cools fine and does not over heat. The charging system and battery work fine. The transmission shifts great, and it drives down the road just fine. Tires hold air and do have a good amount of tread. The brakes are in great shape and it has one new front caliper and new front brake pads. The car needs a paint work. It looks good from far away but it does have cracks in the clear coat, paint chips and scratches here and there. The interior needs carpet, door panel work, steering wheel, and other little odds and ends. All you can see in the pictures. It has a slight exhaust leak, the steering feels a little loose and if left in the garage for a while you can see its leaking a little oil. I do drive it like this so its nothing crazy but like any older car like this you should go over the mechanics at some point. This would be a great restoration project for someone who is looking for a car they can drive and enjoy while they fix it up. With the t-tops off and the awesome stereo blasting this is a super cool car to drive around. I'm sure I have forgotten some things so if you have any specific questions please ask before the auction ends. I also have made a walk around video to show the car a little better and also start it up for everyone. Please message me for the link. If you need any other pictures let me know. I am an honest seller and want who ever buys this car to feel comfortable and know what they are getting.Good luck bidding and remember its no reserve so this car will be selling at the end of the auction. Also, I have this listed locally so it may sell before the auction ends. On Jun-02-16 at 15:57:03 PDT, seller added the following information: 6-2-16 UpdateI have had 2 questions and wanted to answer here too since they are good questions. First one is on the ac. Everything is still there including compressor. It does not work. The blower motor does not work either. Could be a simple fuse or resistor but honestly I dont use the heat or ac. Its a nice weather car with t-tops. I had a question about the condition of paint. Like in the add it needs work if you want to properly restore the car. The pictures I took are high res pictures so feel free to zoom in and you can see it up close very well. Basically the hood had clear coat cracking, the front tip of the nose has some paint missing and the driver fender and door have paint chips. Its probably original paint so expect it to need paint work I think that is it, but if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
