Take a look at this “barn find” 1943 Ford GPW (same as Willys MB but titled as Ford). This GPW was cleaned up and painted over 10 years ago and then parked under a cover in the owners’ workshop. It remained under that cover in San Luis Obispo, CA until he decided to donate it to the Restorative Partners non-profit organization. The proceeds from this sale benefit the Restorative Partners (http://www.restorativepartners.org/). The “Jeep” starts right up when supplied with fuel or starter fluid but the fuel in the tank is now over 10 years old and needs to be flushed. There are no major leaks or problems to be found and the compression tests good on all cylinders. There is no serious rust and it holds a clean/clear title here in California. As you can see there are some hard to find parts included with the sale like the original rifle mount, extra fuel pump, canvas top and more.
