Ok I'm the third owner of this 1979 GMC Jimmy. The first owner had it 34 years and the second guy had it 6 months and passed away and i bought it off his wife. It needs some work but over all good rig. The Bad...the only major rust is under both seat were they mount, and a little on the right door, the transmission's back seal is leaking. So this will need attention before driving around, but you can drive it onto a trailer when coming to pick up. Don't get me wrong the transmission is strong but its poring to much oil to drive much. Everything else seems to be pretty good shape. The Good....The 4 Wheel drive all works, the winch works great, the motor is a 350 crate motor and runs great and has about 55,000 miles on the motor. The right manifold gasket has a leak and you can hear that spit sound when running that will need to be replaced. As of the past year i have put a new water pump, and put a whole new rear drive shaft and U joints in. I do have the hard top for it. Anyway I will answer any questions you have and will be honest about it. Look at my feedback. I'm staring the bid low because I'm moving on with a new business and don't have the time to fix it back up like I want. So here's your chance on a Classic ride.
