Vehicle Detail
This 1969 Ford Convertible is the perfect car for the summer to drive around and have some fun. It is a 45 year old classic that runs great!. It needs some minor work in the interior and with scratches. Many of the parts required have been purchased but not installed. Not enough time in the day to complete the little things. Moving out of Illinois and do not have room in the new house to store or work on the car, unfortunately I need to let it go. It is a 45 year old classic that runs great!. It needs some minor work in the interior, windows alignment, and with several body scratches. Many of the parts required have been purchased but not installed, turn signal indicator switch, heater core, bolts for the fender and grill, new headlights, door cylinder locks and more. Not enough time in the day to complete the little things. I purchased the car in November of 2015 from a California Car Wholesaler. The title I received showed the previous owner had the car since 2001 in California, that is the farthest back I can research. After purchasing I had a local Auto repair shop review the car and do the following; transmission maintenance, rear seal, harmonic balancer, new gaskets, new belts, new engine mounts, new front seal, replace power steering pump assist and assist cylinder. Over $2500 in repairs. The car runs and rides well as I have taken it out on every clear day I could. It is a great cruiser. The Engine and transmission appear to be from that era but I can not determine if they are original to the car. I am moving out of Illinois and do not have room in the new house to store or work on the car, unfortunately I need to let it go.
