Vehicle Detail

It has a chevy 307 engine column shifted 3 speed manual transmission. Runs Great. I would drive it anywhere. It is as reliable as a brand new car. It has been my daily driver for the last 4 years. It has a modern H.E.I. ignition long tube headers new duel exhaust. I’ve rebuilt the carburetor, new starter, alternator, ignition switch, wheel cylinders, refurbished radiator. All new wiring harness with new fuse box. It has a super rare aluminum grill. Good tires, newer battery. I repainted it last summer in a candy apple red metallic. It looks like a dark plum color in the shade but turns to a sparkly red in direct sunlight. The instrument cluster, glove box, steering wheel and the center of the rims are also painted body color, looks real sharp. Never got around to repainting the roof, wheels and front bumper white. The steering wheel is from a 1960 Bel-air as are the hood spears. All lights and turn signals work. Doesn’t burn any oil. It has a slight lifter tick on start up but it goes away once it’s warmed up. There is a decent sized dent on the cab roof. There are 2 holes in the driver floor pan the paint isn’t the greatest you will probably want to repaint it but I think its fine for what it is. The passenger side fender bottom should be replaced, I packed it full of bondo. It looks good from 20 feet away but you can see flaws as well as the remnants of the white stripe down the side from the previous paint job. The seat is good. It has astro turf for carpet. The passenger side door needs a new latch or adjustment. It still works but has to be slammed close. The wood in the bed is decent. Blower motor works, heater core had a leak so I disconnected it. Windows roll up and down good. It has a cassette player that isn’t hooked up. All in all a great truck. I put 3 inch lowering coils in the rear too. Needs a new speedometer cable and the gas gauge doesn’t work. If you plan to drive in stop and go traffic i recommend adding an electric fan. Vehicle sold with bill of sale only, Georgia did not issue titles in 1963
