Exceptionally well maintained by mature owner. Never dropped, raced or abused. Used for touring purposes only as it is very light, economical, and nimble. In perfect running order. Other than riding through the odd shower while touring, the bike has been garage kept its entire life. Rider seat was reworked for more comfort by Sargent seats in Daytona.Rear shock was replaced by a top of the line Penske multiple adjustment remote reservoir unit.Newer Tsubaki chain and sprockets, geared taller than originals for hwy riding. I installed a new oem carburetor last year rather than cleaning original.Tires are good.Daytona steering dampner.Engine oil, and all fluids were replaced in February. Synthetics from day one.New EBC brake pads, front and rear.Valve adjustment.Throttle and clutch cables replaced less than 500 miles ago.Owners manual, and two factory keys.I do all the wrenching myself. Very easy bike to work on.This bike is a great example of a meticulously maintained MZ Skorpion. mechanically 10 out of 10, and in great cosmetic condition. It has the same bullet proof Yamaha 5 valve single engine used on the XTZ 660 Tenere sold all over the world except here in the states.
