This is a great fixer. It is a muscle car 1970 Torino Cobra, J code 429CJ, automatic, Shaker, buckets, console, tach(works well), rear window defogger(works) etc. This car is highly optioned from the factory and came in what is probably the best color available on these cars, Calypso Coral. This car has a 429 Thunder jet with a mild Crane cam, it seems to run well. The engine does have the correct CJ valve covers, intake and exhaust manifolds so it looks very correct under the hood. The interior need to be refreshed, it is 46 years old. The radiator and shroud appear to be correct although there is a slight crack in the shroud.The transmission is not the original but is a nice working C6. The rear end came with 3.50 gears from the factory but now has a 28 spline 4.11(guessing from driving impression) and track-lok.The speedometer is now a ways off because of the gear change. Before considering this a reliable driver it needs a heater core,, some exhaust work and probably a gas tank. The original # matching engine is for sale from a previous owner. This car has been driven around a little bit but is not yet a daily driver. it was my intention to make it my summer project. After I bought it I decided on a different Cobra 351 1971 car, so this one must go. The car is at my mechanic's shop, so need to set up viewing times. `
