********** We are offering a 1968 Oldsmobile 442 400 C.I. Auto with Air ************ *************** We just took this car in !!! A lot of the work by the previous owner has already been done !!! ... New brakes - complete including Master Cylinder , pads drums , booster , etc ........ New coil springs - front and rear have also been done !! There are new shocks all around . New ball joints and a rebuilt Turbo 400 trans . I have the receipts totaling over $3300.00 for work that has been done !! ************* ********** The car runs and drives great ! Everything works !! All the lights work , also ! *********** ********** This car has had an older restoration . There is no rust on the body , but there is some body filler that was used. The paint looks okay , but showing it's age . From what I have been told , the original color was gold . All the stainless trim is excellent . The bumpers look original and are very good ! All the glass is good , also . ********** ********* The motor , I was told , is original - numbers matching . I do not know how to verify this on an Olds . It does have a C code on the block (see picture ) .. Which means 67- 69 400. I am sure it has been rebuilt at some point , as you can see from the pictures, it's very clean and the paint looks great ********** ********* The AC appears to be complete , but is inop , at this point . ************ ********* As I stated , the trans has been rebuilt with shift kit ( I do have the receipt ) ********* ********* The 12 Bolt posi rear end looks original . It does have the sway bar. ********* ********* The interior is all original and very nice for it's age . The seats are great ......No rips . (There is one cigarette hole in the drivers seat ) The door panels are good . The driver's arm rest is warn and cracked . .... All the rest look good !! All the power windows work fine . The dash and steering wheel look excellent . The carpet is still okay !! ********** ********* The floors look great and solid . The frame also looks good ********* ******** On the less positive side , the trunk floor should be replaced .
