Selling my green 1996 Range Rover 4.0. Has just over 150k miles on it. Clean title. I've had it since 2006. Had the head gaskets redone by George at Hillerich's/Lindberg Automotive at 122,262 miles. Most Range Rovers eventually need this expensive work done between 100-150k miles. Truck drove fine until 2 weeks ago when it wouldn’t start. Turns over OK, but no spark. Looking at new cars anyway, so not willing to pay for tow, diagnosis, and replacement part(s) just to trade it in this month or next. Forums say problem is likely a coil pack or crank position sensor. So, this truck is selling AS-IS/FOR PARTS or REPAIR. It will need to be towed. Clear Illinois title. 1 key included (see photos). The details: Good (I have most receipts):Tow hitch has never been used by me or the previous owner. 4 new generation 2 electronic air suspension air bags installed at 145,661 New rear brake lines at same mileage Muffler and starter replaced at 142,684 Water pump replaced at 141,970 Rear brakes done at 140,605 (also new cabin and air filters) Air compressor rebuilt at 130,949 2 New front tires at 129,847 Front brakes at 126,940 Oil changes every 3k miles Passed Illinois emissions test November 2015 New Battery with warranty November 2015 Bad: Driver door lock actuator needs replacing (I have the part, but was waiting to install until warmer weather) AC does not work (needs a new blend motor). Rear bumper has slight bulge from hit while parked in 2008 (see photos) - tailgate still opens/closes fine. Stereo sound out of right side speakers only (think the stereo itself needs reconditioning). Rear wiper won't work (stripped fitting). Oxidized paint on roof and portion of hood (see photos).
