The trunk and pans appear very sound and upon very close inspection only "hints" of body filler were used on the very lowest trim of the body and beneath the 10 years of dirt, dust and crud, this car has a very, very presentable paint job. The seats and carpets have been removed from the car but are in very good, usable condition and will be included in this sale. The original "knockoff" wire wheels are in excellent condition with only few spokes with very minor surface rust; very serviceable tires with excellent tread, glass is excellent all around. The convertible top was recently replaced and the wood dash and instruments appear to be in good order. The very recent photographs show the car as it has been sitting for over 11 years without the hood attached but as can be seen in the background the original hood is present and also goes with the car. Again, a serious health issue forces this sale and this will be a very fortuitous MG acquisition for the astute person with the skill sets to bring this veritable classic back to life as you will be getting a lot of car for $1900 and the MG is for pick up only.
