Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 350, Auto. This car is from the estate of a family member who has owned it for 15 years. In that time is was not driven much and stored in a garage. I have done the following to the car: new battery, oil and filter change, checked all fluids, new washer fluid tank and wiper blades, cleaned up car. I drove this car for 10 miles the other day to test operation and check for issues. I would say this car on a scale of 1-10 is a 7. Not a perfect show car but very nice. Car runs and operates fine, aftermarket tach and gauges, Alpine stereo, motor has been worked on at some point, I believe it to have a mild cam and possibly other upgrades. The 64,970 miles on the odometer are most likely not accurate according to the title, which is clear. Maroon exterior and black leather interior, seats are in good condition. Lights and gauges work. Car drives fine but keep in mind this is a 40+ year old car and I would recommend a complete inspection before any long road trips. The following are known issues, clock and temp gauge do not work, small(2 inch) crack in dash over left speaker, cigarette lighter socket is missing, rims have light rust, carpet worn but still serviceable, power steering whines but operates fine, A/C parts may be missing, a few chips in the paint, no visible rust. Please feel free to ask any questions and an inspection is possible prior to bidding. On Mar-27-16 at 18:21:00 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer some questions I have been asked. There is not a buy it now price. I am going to let the auction run through until the end. Many people have asked about rust or body filler. I ran a magnet around the vehicle and the only place where there may be some is the rear wheel well. The magnet still sticks but not as strongly. I have tried to describe the condition as best possible and anyone is welcome to view it prior to bidding. I will try to get a few undercarriage pictures up in the next day or so. Again feel free to ask any questions. On Mar-28-16 at 17:55:37 PDT, seller added the following information: As requested I added underside pictures. Also had a lot of questions about body imperfections. The only item I see is a few small paint bubbles around the rear window area. I uploaded a picture of this. As always ask questions.....
