Vehicle Detail

RELUCTANTLY offered here to the discriminating buyer seeking the absolute highest quality vehicle available is our 2003 9-passenger Chevrolet Suburban purchased in June, 2005. This vehicle was still under factory warranty when acquired from an Oklahoma auto dealer, whose wife used it as her car for her consulting business. Since having the Suburban trucked here to New Hampshire, it has been only sparingly used by two adult drivers as a family hauler when we have excursions with more than five people as we have several other vehicles in our household. This Suburban has always been garaged and its condition clearly reflects that. It is exceptionally clean, has been maintained with an open checkbook by the local Chevrolet dealer and has a documented, fully up to date service history including having recently undergone comprehensive service including changing all fluids, spark plugs, plug wires, filters, fuel injection cleaning, etc. At that time, all minor problems were addressed to assure this vehicle is fully road ready for travel and transport anywhere anytime. This Suburban also receives regular oil changes utilizing synthetic motor oil based on time rather than mileage and since acquired, it has only rarely been in rain and never in snow or off road, abused in any way, never smoked in or used to transport children or animals and in case you're wondering, since the vehicle hasn't been used for everyday transport, off road or in bad weather, the undercarriage is in as excellent condition as the rest of the car. Beyond that, this Suburban is the best designed, built and practical vehicle we have ever owned and although we'd prefer to keep it, circumstances dictate we must thin the herd. I purchased this particular Suburban because it was low mileage, had 9-passenger seating and four wheel drive in a neutral color and it wasn't as easy locating this combination as one would think. One other great advantage of this particular Suburban is that it has all the options you need and nothing you don't, having standard equipment and options such as power steering, seat, heated mirrors, windows, remote locking and 4-wheel disc anti-lock brakes, tri-zone front & rear a/c & heat, cruise control, AM/FM CD Cassette Stereo, HD trailer towing package, Posi-traction axle, liftgate with liftglass, privacy glass, fog lights, side impact air bags and stability control. It does not have trouble prone options such as DVD players, built-in GPS or sunroofs that all too frequently cause annoying and expensive to remedy problems or become obsolete or "no long supported." The bulletproof 5.3 liter small block Chevy V8 provides plenty of power while achieving gasoline consumption similar to my Chevy Impala sedan. This vehicle has never been in any accident whatsoever and has never had any bodywork or paintwork since leaving the Arlington, Texas, plant where it was built. Also included in the sale are two remotes with spare keys, owner's manual, sales brochure and service records. This vehicle has a clear CarFax Report and a copy will be provided as a PDF to potential buyers upon request. Our Suburban is in outstanding condition. The exceptionally low miles translates into buying a much later model such as a 2012-13 or even newer to obtain a vehicle with similar low wear and tear. In other words, if you could buy this Suburban for less than half of what you would pay for a 2012-13 Suburban with the same miles, why wouldn't you want to do that? Another advantage of this vintage Suburban is that it is less complicated to service than newer models and insurance, registration and taxes will be significantly less expensive than newer models. When new, this Suburban had a sticker price in excess of $46,000, and if you've lately shopped the Chevy store for a brand new or even pre-owned Suburban, the price of this one makes it an absolute bargain. As a family, we have driven and owned all manner of cars and trucks over the years and the Chevy Suburban represents one of the best if not the best vehicle values in terms of what you receive for your money. Since it is a Chevy, parts and service are reasonable and readily available through a large dealer and aftermarket network. It is a durable, safe, reliable, powerful vehicle that is at once relaxing to drive and comfortable to ride in, capable of carrying 9 passengers and their luggage or tow a 15,000 pound trailer. How many other vehicles can do that? People who buy a Suburban tend to use them every day in all kinds of weather and conditions and like most Chevy trucks, they achieve at least 250,000 miles without a major problem even when they're abused. Low use Suburban's in outstanding condition seldom come up for sale and it's a sure thing you won't find another one like this for a long, long time... maybe never. My promise to anyone who comes to collect the car in person will without hesitation have their deposit/payment returned and the deal cancelled if they're disappointed in any way. Chevy Suburban's are wonderful vehicles and you will not find anywhere a better condition, more highly maintained, lower mileage Chevrolet Suburban built in any year for less money.
