Vehicle Detail
To my knowledge, I'm the second owner of this vehicle. I bought it from a dealership in Rockville, MD. Mileage is mostly highway as this vehicle traveled from Columbia, MD to Washington, DC on weekdays for a few years. For a couple years, it traveled twice a week to Dulles, VA. Since 2012, travel has mostly been in town and to Silver Spring, MD on weekdays. It has been a completely reliable car. Never left me stranded or failed to start. It's had oil changes every 5000 miles. It's never been in an accident, however, the left rear quarter panel was replaced due to back hoe damage during 2010 snow storm cleanup. FEATURES:JBL stereo systemMost service recordsFull size spareNew EGA valve solenoid 8-29-08New Battery 3-25-10Quarter panel replaced 4-13-102 front rotors and new ceramic pads 10-12-12New thermostat 4-12-13New exhaust flex pipe from down pipe to converter 9-30-13New brake booster 7-17-15 New battery and positive terminal 1-15-16So, why am I selling it? While I like the idea of not having a car note, the vehicle is no longer worth me putting money into it. NEEDS:AC compressor pulley went out, producing a distracting grinding noise from the engine. Compressor is leaking oil and needs replacing. My mechanic estimates this is a $450 job, parts and labor. This makes the car undriveable at the moment. Doing so risks the compressor seizing or a belt coming off. Interested parties must be prepared to tow or load this car on a trailer. Either one or both fuel filters may need replacing or idle needs to be adjusted as on rare occasions the car attempts to stall when coming to a stop. One or more brake rotors may be warped as there's some pulsation in brake pedal while braking.
