1979 Pontiac Trans Am - RARE Smokey And The Bandit- SE (Y84)- WS6 - Black On Black - T-Tops- CA Car - Factory 6.6 403 with factory CA Emissions, Smog pump and accessories are still on the car and also says it on the PHS, Motor does start up and run, goes into gear and brakes work. Came with factory Automatic Transmission. AC compressor is off the motor but I do have it and it comes with the car. The AC brackets are still on the motor. It needs new power steering hoses. The Original Exterior color of the Trans Am is Starlight Black, code 19. The body is pretty straight, has some small digs, nothing to major. It looks like a good part of the car has original paint. The paint is really faded, I took some rubbing compound and put it on a rag and the paint came back, so if someone uses a good buffer and really cuts the paint and does all the steps, it's possible it could look ok. You can see in my detailed pictures were the Black paint came back, I only did it for a minute, so just think what a buffer will do. Over all the Trans Am looks pretty solid, I don't see any major rust, just in some some places were there is some small patches of Bondo over the paint. You can see all the detail pictures I posted of the body, trunk and floors. Original California Car. The original color of the Trans Am interior is Black. It does have different color seats and door panels, but the original color is Black. They are the correct Trans Am seats, just the wrong color. The Trans Am does need a complete interior kit to redo the interior.
