I'm selling this car for a neighbor and it is a 1977 Datsun 280z. This 280z was originally a California car and would be an ideal candidate for a full restoration. This car has been garaged and only has a couple of small rust spots by the right rear window and the right rear fender. The paint is dull and the car needs repainting. The dashboard is in perfect condition. The vinyl seat covers are cracked and need replaced. The engine and transmission were replaced with a 1978 280z engine and 5 speed gearbox. The engine in the car has about 67k miles on it and the original engine and 4 speed gearbox are included. The original engine developed a very loud screeching sound and has never been opened up or repaired. 4 extra tires and rims are also included. The exhaust system was upgraded with new headers and a freer flowing exhaust. The original exhaust system is also included. On Mar-15-16 at 19:24:11 PDT, seller added the following information: The A/C compressor appears to kick on but there is no cold air.
