Vehicle Detail
This is a car for the serious autocrosser who still wants to be able to drive their car on the street occasionally(It's harsh...). Autocross history: It's won one state championship in E Prepared and won EP at the'93 SCCA National tour event in Norfolk. Won D Prepared state championships in '08,and 10. It's been on the cover of Pylon two times and was in Grassroots Motorsports in early 90's. It has been used at track school events and is a blast to drive on the track. It will surprise many cars of the German persuasion at track days. It has vented rotors with z calipers modified with spacers to fit the rotors and cockpit adjustable brake bias. This car will stop quick. It has some small dents, paint chips, etc... as you should find on an older track / autocross car but overall it still looks quite good. Buyer is responsible for picking up car or making shipping arrangements. The vehicle is currently titled and licensed in Virginia. $1000 deposit due within 3 days of auction end. Details: Actual mileage unknown. Blue printed engine bored 0.040: with Nissan flat top pistons. Race prepped rods with ARP bolts. Head ported & combustion chambers modified. Block decked. Comp. ratio is 10.5:1 so it will run on premium pump gas. Comp oil pan with gated trap door insert. Nissan B cam, cam oil spray bar, adjustable cam gear, Tilton aluminum flywheel, comp clutch pilot bearing. Original Solex Mikuni 44mm carbs with 37mm chokes on ported manifold. Race prepped Nissan middle close transmission. Nissan 4.63:1 LSD differential with clutch shimmed tight for autocross and track use. Oversized radiator core (this vehicle will not overheat). Complete competition suspension, old style Nissan comp springs, Koni shocks, custom rear panhard bar. Memory tach, mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauges. Seats have 5 point harnesses. Car starts by toggle switches because key and safety lock have been removed for track use. All lights, wipers, horn and turn indicators are working.
