1975 BMW 2002. A very nice, usable BMW, exterior and interior restored. From high deserts of western Colorado. Mostly restored in 2005-2006. Approximately 1000 miles since restoration. 1. Motor – New rings, rod bearings, Weber carburetor, complete head rebuild, clutch, seals and gaskets. 2. Transmission – Resealed 4-speed transmission. 3. Body – NO RUST EVER. Complete, body-on repaint. The original paint was removed to bare metal. New windshield. New seat upholstery (original type), headliner, and sunroof. Replaced dash. 4. Wheels - OEM Alloy wheels, good tires. This BMW is not a concours show car but all work that has been done is excellent. Still needs: Front / rear shocks. The car rides & runs well. Heater Blower motor Seat back cables need adjustment or replacement. The backs will not tip forward for easy entry to the rear seats. The car originally had A/C, and most parts are in vehicle or on hand. No compressor. All parts that I have will be included. There are no anti-pollution parts on the auto. Buyer will be responsible for shipping. Car can be picked up where stored in Big Rapids MI. If more them photos are needed I will attempt to take them and forward. There are two small paint chips from storage (see photo of left front fender). The second flaw is 2 small dents in the trunk lid. They are so small, a photo wouldn’t pick them up. I have the paint code available.
