This auction is for a beautiful 1987 Monte Carlo SS. I bought this vehicle in 2010 (it was in the process of being restored). It is driven maybe 50 miles a year just to keep its blood flowing. As for the reason I am selling it, well, it was my full intention to have the restoration completed, but various situations keep taking up my time and money. I have fixed several small things that the last owner failed to put back together and recently had the T-top's foundation completly restored ($3500). The last owner stated that the engine was a 350 (300 hp) crate engine with approximately 5000 miles on it and that the transmission was overhaualed as well. There is a stall converter installed, but I am not sure what RPMs it is set up for. The car has seen snow from the inside of a garage, but has never been in it. It does need some tinkering here and there, but if your looking for a great Monte Carlo SS that doesn't need much IRT a restoration, this may be just what you're looking for. Like they say, you have to see it to truly appreciate it, especially when it turns 30 years old in 2017 and is still in this good of condition.
