1949 Chevy 5 Window Pickup Shop Truck, Nice Short Wood Bed, Lowered with Mustang II Front End, Rack and Pinion Steering, Dakota Digital Gauges that work, Lights, wiper, heater, horn all work too! Starts, Runs, and Drives Great! With a Small Block Chevy 350 V8, Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission, and 10 Bolt Rear End. Tires are in Great Shape. No this does not have a show paint job, its a driver with some character (dents & scratches) Some call this Patina, but whatever it's a Nice Shop Truck. The passenger door doesn't open for some reason but I have a new latch and rod so I will try to get that fixed by auction end. You could definitely restore the body and paint and have something real expensive. The state of MO issued the Vin number and plate on the truck but it's still titled as a 1949 Chevy. Then go price a mustang II front end and pay someone to install that, replace the steering column, and finally buy and install digital gauges! Then add the price of a decent truck and tell me you could build something like this for the kind of money you want to pay for it, Really? Lets get realistic you are not going to buy a truck like this for $12-14000, its just NOT gonna happen!
